Recent Projects

In recent times Chrysalis Consulting: Navigating Change has been engaged by organisations, groups and individuals to: Assist with the closure of schools in rural and urban settings including:

liaising with families and identifying alternative schooling options
assisting students to relocate to new schools and supporting them in their transition
supporting the school executives, staff members and other stakeholders impacted by closure of schools
developing and managing a process to disperse material assets

designing and facilitating rituals and other initiatives to support those impacted by the decision to close their school

Aid with the closure of an inner city social services welfare agency including:

consultation with the CEO, the executive team and the agency manager
meeting individual staff members to discuss their future employment options
brokering alternative employment for staff members
liaison and networking with various social service agencies committed to adopting and developing the existing programmes

supporting staff members in their transition

Facilitate morning, weekend and week-long retreats for a variety of people including:

Teachers and other education providers
Health professionals
Church ministers and key parish personnel
Social service providers
People with HIV and their carers

Volunteers

Design and Deliver:

one day spirituality programmes for school staff members
an eight session enrichment programme for talented students enrolled in the NSW Higher School Certificate
specific modules for students enrolled in Studies of Religion
street retreats for schools in the inner city of Sydney

programmes and initiatives for Teaching English as a Second Language to international students

Work with the members of a Parist Pastoral Council to:

develop a three-year strategic vision for youth and young adults,
identify and train youth leaders to implement the vision

Mentor youth and young adult leaders

Facilitate a three-day Gathering for 150 people to explore the future of their organisation and to develop a strategic vision

Develop and present a workshop to support and further resource volunteers working in a social service agency

Offer spiritual direction for individuals

Provide relationship counselling for individuals

Facilitate professional/pastoral supervision for individuals and groups

Provide Pro Bono, support services for church and non-Government Organisations
